Employment Tribunal Pricing & Timescales

All VAT is charged at 20%

Straightforward cases with a time estimate for trial not exceeding one day £6,000 – £7,500 + VAT

Moderately complex case with time estimate for trial two to three days £8,000 – £12,500 + VAT

Complex case such as discrimination or whistle blowing £12,500 – £20,000 + VAT at 20%

The above figures are for the minority of cases which proceed to a contested trial. Settlement before trial will reduce costs and settlement at an early stage will greatly reduce costs.

If, and we will advise you about this, a barrister is instructed his or her fees will also be payable. Otherwise the only disbursement will be travel, if mileage charged at 45p per mile.

 

The costs above are Based on hourly charge out rate £300 + VAT. Where appropriate we will consider a fixed fee arrangement for stages of work.
